Petition
Dear Mr. Blair,

as Prime Minister, you are the only person I can ask.
I'm writing in the name of millions of schoolchildren, students and teachers from Germany, asking you to either change the phonetical system of your language, or to forbid the name Elizabeth for english people. We Germans are truly trying to learn the right pronunciation of the english language, but every time it comes to speaking the name "Elizabeth" aloud, we have severe problems to NOT end up having a knot in our tongues. For you as native speaker it's not a big problem at all, but for us, learning your beautiful language, it is a severe danger for health. Have you ever tried to eat with a knot in your tongue?
Besides, i would like to inform you, that it is NOT adequate to invade Germany with a swarm of english words. We don't want to be assimilated, although the British culture is very fascinating. We want to keep our own culture, even if it contains some very strange habits such as drinking beer in masses.
Oh, and by the way, teach your folks to serve beer cold, it tastes much better this way.
And, of course, try to import more spices for your food. I don't want to complain, but being in England i found out, that the English seem to have lost all their knowledge about spices and their usage after the breakdown of the Empire. Thank you for your attention.

Best regards,
foxp2gen
